1.2. Web GIS: Description and Main Features

Web GIS is an information system for geodata storage and geodata management through admin web console or API.

Web GIS allows you to:

  • Upload and store raster and vector geodata;

  • Connect geodata from external databases and geoservices;

  • Visualize geodata on web maps and publish it using standard protocols;

  • Customize map styles for your geodata;

  • Edit attributes, add descriptions and photos of your geodata;

  • Manage geodata with mobile app NextGIS Mobile and desktop app NextGIS QGIS;

  • Create end-user applications using NextGIS API.
